The Senney Honors Academy's Leadership Lecture Series 
 
The Leadership Lecture Series, sponsored by The Senney Honors Academy, brings influential community leaders, faith leaders, businesspeople, and alumni to speak to Lutheran West students. Although a component of the SHA curriculum, the Leadership Lecture Series is open to all students, families, faculty/staff, and friends of our school.

Rachel (Hessler) Lyons '06, Attonery, Wegman Hessler
An attorney with the law firm of Wegman Hessler in Independence, Rachel (Hessler) Lyons '06 practices in the area of wills, trusts, and probate law. Recently celebrating its 51-year anniversary, the full-service law firm was originally started by Rachel’s grandfather and continued on by her uncle and father. Rachel is a 2006 graduate of Lutheran West and was drawn to the law as a way to serve her family and community. She enjoys working with clients to plan for the future and provide them with peace of mind as they navigate through life, death, and everything in between. Read Rachel's full professional bio here.

Dr. Jean Cibula, neurologist at University of Florida Department of Neurology
Dr Cibula holds the BJ and Eve Wilder Professorship in Epilepsy at the University of Florida. Dr Cibula is a fellow of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and the American Epilepsy Society, and is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, and has served on the board of the Florida Society for Neurology. She has served as an officer of the UF College of Medicine Faculty Council since 2012. She also serves as the medical director for the UFHealth Neurodiagnostics Laboratory. Marc A. Ross, Founder, Caracal Global
Marc A. Ross is an advisor and connector working at the intersection of globalization, disruption, and politics.
Ross specializes in helping entrepreneurs and thought leaders make better connections and better communications.
He has extensive experience in thought leadership, public affairs, and global communications for companies as well as leading the advocacy operations, fundraising programs and marketing efforts for nonprofits, trade associations, and political campaigns, many for the highest offices in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Andrew Moan, AI and XR Product Innovations, Cleveland Clinic 
Andrew Moan leads Cleveland Clinic’s investment and product development in virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR) training tools. He partners with physician leaders and external companies to design the technical architecture, build the business case, and launch innovative software and hardware products. Andrew brings a unique perspective to the work. He’s been a U.S. Navy TOPGUN instructor pilot and worked in the tech industry for Apple, Inc., McKinsey & Company, and Microsoft. In his current role, Andrew designed the artificial intelligence (AI) enabled architecture across Cleveland Clinic institutes and is developing the VR training programs for clinical anatomy and surgical training.

Debbie Clapper, Founder, gneural 
Drawing nearly every day since the age of 9, Debbie mastered the art of freehand drawing and painting without the aid of a ruler or straight edge. She built a career around pattern illustration via her passion for abstract optical illusion art. Heavily inspired by M.C. Escher and graffiti, her work strives to inspire and ignite imagination in all who interact with it. Over the last 18 years, her funky yet sophisticated designs have brought life to brands such as Smartwool, BOA Technology, Hope Hummus, Rickshaw Bags and Pactimo.
